How to Resolve the 'This Code Is No Longer Valid' Error
This error message appears when you try to add an eSIM that has already been added, or if the QR code was not fully scanned due to a weak connection.
To verify if the eSIM has been successfully installed, please follow these steps:
- Open Settings
- Navigate to General
- Select About and scroll down
If the eSIM is properly installed and activated, you should see the ICCID [NUMBER] plus an additional digit, as long as the eSIM line is marked “On” under Cellular Plans.
Please note that if the eSIM has been removed, it cannot be reinstalled.
Alternatively, if you are installing the eSIM for the first time, this error may be caused by a poor connection, an active VPN, or having too many eSIMs already installed on your device.
To successfully install your eSIM, please follow these steps:
- 1. Disable any VPN
- 2. Ensure you have a strong and stable internet connection
- 3. Remove any eSIMs you no longer need
- 4. Verify that your software is up to date
- 5. Attempt to install the eSIM using a different method
